Would you recommend this resource for a small group or Sunday School study?
This magazine would be good for a short (4-5 weeks long) topical study on biblical prophecy, the importance of the literal interpretation of the Scriptures, Dispensationalism, and Replacement Theology, provided that the teacher has an accurate understanding of these concepts and can communicate them in an understandable manner.  The magazine could also be kept in a Sunday school or small group classroom for individual research.

 General Review, by Catherine Myers:

The May-June issue of “Israel My Glory” counters the errant teaching of Replacement Theology, which is so prevalent in the modern, evangelical church.  (This theology strays from a literal interpretation of the Scriptures, particularly with regards to end time prophecies concerning the nation of Israel.)  This issue does an excellent job in explaining wrong teachings, and bringing readers back to the literal Scriptures for correct, theological ideas.

However, be prepared to spend time analyzing what may be (for many) very abstract concepts.  This issue uses various charts and tables to simplify complex ideas, but the text of the articles themselves certainly requires a time commitment, if needed, to contemplate and reflect on the essence of what is being taught.   I recommend this resource especially for those wanting to delve deeper into an understanding of what has happened “behind the scenes” historically in the modern church.
