General Review, by Shelby Tuck
: Darwin’s Plantation by Dr. A. Charles Ware and Ken Ham explores the roots of Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution and its influence on society in history. This book challenges Darwin’s theory of evolution using scripture after scripture. Readers will find the initial chapters of the book very interesting. These chapters address the origins of different ethnic groups and the ways in which Darwin’s lie of evolution has sparked numerous tragedies in the past, including the ethnic cleansing of aborigines in Australia and the genesis of Hitler’s supremacist viewpoints. Ham and Ware’s book focuses on racism at its roots and how prevalent it continues to be in people’s hearts and minds today. This book reminds all Christians of their duty to love one another as Jesus would, no matter the race. I would recommend Darwin’s Plantation to anyone who has a strong interest in the field of science and genetics, as the book goes into deep detail on the subjects of natural selection and DNA. Younger readers, who are interested in the subject, may find some of the content too in-depth and difficult to read.
